    Default Late season duck hunting

Alright I will never know the answer unless I ask this and it may be a dumb question but is there still any open water to duck hunt around Anchorage? I am wondering about the Maud Rd or Rabbit Slough area, I really want to go out again but I feel it may just be to late!

Anything salty is still open. Go hunt sea ducks

I would love but the only type of boat I have is a kayak.

A kayak will work... weather permitting

Ha I have actually thought about it but I have no idea where to go and the thought of getting out there and the weather turning scares me a little bit.

I've always wanted to hunt Tonsina Point out of Seward. I know you can paddle there in short order, even in the winter. Pick your days.

Birds are pretty much gone. Marshes are locked up. Have to hit rivers and salt for any action. It does eventually come to an end. Then we wait..;(
