Default Mental Health Trust Fund Land

So I have been searching and just can't seem to find any definitive answers on here. Can you hunt MHTF lands? On their website (http://mhtrustland.org/index.php/lan...tion-use-page/) it says you can, but when I was searching on here, I have found many posts saying you can't or that you have to get written permission. So whats the correct answer?

Maybe they'll hunt me down, but I have taken a moose from Mental Health Lands. It was good for my mental and physical health.

My understanding is that hunting is allowed. On most of their land, 4 wheelers are not allowed.

It looks like non-motorized day hunting is allowed. This forum is full of public opinions, many of which are wrong.

The public use of Trust land for hunting, fishing, and other recreational activities is allowed under the following conditions.

    All activities must be:

    • Day use only
    • Non-commercial
    • Non-motorized
    • In compliance with applicable state, federal, and local laws

After 5-6 trips to the same area going after grouse and not getting any, one could start to question my mental health I suppose.

How about Borough, and DNR land. That is public hunt able land too correct?

Borough land is not State land and may have any number of different use restrictions. Consult your Borough land use administrator.

DNR (State of Alaska, Division of Natural Resources) is State land, consult State hunting Regulations.

MHTF (State of Alaska, Mental Health Trust Fund) lands are State lands set aside for specific purpose. Consult their web site/administrators. (AK Cowboy advice spot on).
