    Question 300 win with 175 LRX

    Just bought a Montana 300 win mag

    need a good load ?

    I use these, however my data is not near me since i am moving. I will post when i dig my notes out.

    My box reads 1:11 twist or faster. That being the case in my looong throated aught six I was getting fast results with them LRX. That rifle is 1:10 an accuracies weren't quite pleasing. May still persist and try it in my Mark X 06' or 300 HH that are 1:10 or buy a barrel for that bullet.

    1-10" is more than adequate for that bullet. Barnes bullets in general like a jump, so play with seating depth and go from there.
