I would pass if it's a brow tine restricted area....... I just don't know. I harvested a bull last week that was 52". And he looked "plenny big", but I know I would not have pulled the trigger if I hadn't seen a fourth brow tine. I just wouldnt risk it. Definately a nice bull though . I could see him pushing 40-47"

Really close, 48-52 range, but like mentioned above I'd pass if it didn't have enough brows for the area.

    Default another shot

Here is another shot of him, it is a 4 browtine area.

Better have the necessary brow tines... Pretty but definitely not 50". My guess would be 44". How wide is his ear spread and how much wider is each antler?

Right at 50. I'd let him walk. Too close for my comfort.

Low to mid 40's not even close imo, but I'm the kind of guy to not push the limits on that rule.

Passed on one almost identical to that last week. Painful to do, but probably not quite 50".

I think he would tape out to 52''-53", those long palms are deceptive and get wider along the length plus a long tine on the left antler. That being said, if I had a shot opportunity on this guy, I would let him walk. Too close for comfort.

I would guess 46", definitely wouldn't shoot if he's lacking the tines to be legal.

He's right there, but I sure as heck wouldn't shoot him. 49.5"

I didn't blow the pic up, but I use the 10" between the eyes to make a graph on ones like this. He has a lot of palms, but they go up. You are looking for the ones that go out. I think he is close, but would have to really have a better look before I pulled the trigger.

I agree with the consensus. I have a 46 and 52 on my wall at home. I would put him at 46-48. He has good palms but they curve forward too much. If they grew straight out to the side, he would probably make it pretty easy. Its fun guessing.

Boy, this would be a tough one to let walk, but he sure will make good breeding stock. With that being the case, I would enjoy seeing him and taking as many pictures as I could. All could hope for is that he makes through the winter grows a little more and is legal next season.
    Nice pictures though!

No way is he over 50. Look how his R antler curves way up and not at all out. Lay that ear down and there's only a few inches of antler out past. He's classic 45" or so

My guess in 45-48", legal where I hunt. He'll make a nice bull next year.., if he's not poached and left to rot before then.
