    Default Are my rods adequate?

I will arrive on the Kenai July 12th to fish for kings. I am planning on taking a loomis SAR1084, HSR1025 and HSR1265. One of the buddies I am going with has told me that those rods will not do (not strong enough), and recommended something like the Lami "Kenai King". I am thinking they will do just fine. He has been there many times before for the kings on the kenai, this is my first. We will bounce eggs and pull kwiks. Any guidance is appreciated.

Not familiar with the numbers you posted.....I use a Kenai Killer or Kenai King. Any rod rated "Heavy action" and for 25 lb test line should be ok.

    Default Yes

You'll be just fine with those rods. The HS1025 is one of the most popular models on the river for pulling plugs and bait/diver setups, and should work OK for backbouncing. The SAR1265 is another popular choice. The SAR1084 would make a good boondogging rod too.
