Default Moose Hunting across bay from Homer

Anyone hunted for moose on Kachemak Bay across from Homer?

I'm not exactly sure on the specifics of where it might be legal... Just curious to hear if anyone has done it successfully.

    Thanks!

First you want to identify the native lands, and whether you can hunt on their lands or not.

It's mostly Kachemak Bay State Park at the lower elevations and Kenai National Wildlife Refuge at the higher elevations.

There are few moose across the bay. But the head of the bay is a better bet.......
I come home with an honestly earned feeling that something good has taken place. It makes no difference whether I got anything, it has to do with how the day was spent. Fred Bear
