They will start responding in ..... 3....2.....1....NOW!!

Seriously, it is what it is. Every moose is different, some bulls come charging in while they are in velvet in August, some will hang up out of sight and not move in the end of Sept. It is worth doing, even if it doesn't work all the time. Nothing to be lost, as long as you don't overdo it. At least IME....

The bull my bro shot last Saturday the 12th came back out of the brush looking for that's hot cow he was hearing even after being shot once. The bull I tried to call up out of his bed yesterday the 19th wouldn't budge. Some are interested some are not.

Called one over on Saturday, but he was still a little cautious.

I called one last Monday and he got really interested. He was too small with only two brow tines. He came in pretty hard and when I decided he was too small and tried to leave he kept following me to the point he charged me twice. Saturday I did see a fork horned bull and tried to call but he took off like a bat out of hell and I couldn't get a shot.

Called in camp all evening on the 5th of Sep. This guy came in grunting hard around 630am on the 6th. Still grunting after taking two .338's to the lungs.
