Default Any advice on a late season Etolin Elk hunt?

    Hey all,
I drew a permit for the late Elk hunt (DE323) on Etolin and I happen to be working on POW this year so I'm excited about my first ever elk hunt. Just wondering if anyone knows of a good transporter to talk to about getting from POW across the Strait by boat.
Also, since I won't be able to get home before the hunt, are there any outfitters down here that I could rent some gear from (tent, stove, etc). I'd need stuff good enough for 7-10 days of cold, wet, Southeastern October.

Go to Coffman Cove and ask around.
Death is like an old whore in a bar--I'll buy her a drink but I won't go upstairs with her.
