The class is going to cover a wide variety of subjects. The class will cover, preseason trap prep, fur handling, how to trap Alaska's furbearers, techniques, and an emphasis on trapping ethics and the law. The course is approximately 8 hours and lunch is provided.

South Central Chapter of the Alaska Trappers Association should be offering a General Trapping School on either 10/10 or 10/17. Call Richard Person at 907-240-3678 for more info.

    Default AFTA Workshop

I'm wondering how many folks would be interested in an AFTA workshop in the Valdez or Copper Valley area. What other topics would people want to have on the schedule?

Planning something for Spring (somewhere between January - May), 2016.

After getting together as an Association, it looks like there will be a trapping school going on this May 2016. The December meeting was cancelled but i will find out more information when the January meeting comes around.
