Default Need info on Big Lake boating ?

I never got to take the boat out this summer due to work. I need to run all the gas out and run everything. Can anybody tell where to launch a 24ft bayliner ? Any hazards I need to look out for ?
    Thanks

    Burkeshore at big lake.
Pick up a chart or talk to Tom (crescent hills on here) before launching. Around burnt point is a very shallow spot by the islands, he will clue you in.

I think there's a public (?) launch/park further down the road as well. I don't know about hazards or how big of boat you can get into the water there. There were lots of different types of boats coming and going while we were there.

Take Big Lake road to the Y then take right. Go to end of road; it ends at northshore state rec area. There is boat launch and camping areas. Shallow spots are pretty obvious grassy areas. If you see grass it is shallow! 24' boat will have no problems.
