Default Ivashek launch and airboat conditions

Does anyone have any information and which launch folks are using? I was deployed all spring but heard the river channel changed up quite a bit during the spring. Any info on river conditions is appreciated, I'm headed up this weekend for 7-10 days. Thanks

I know there are several Airboats up there right now & the water was higher than usual this time of year.

I am heading up later next week for a couple days.

I heard also that the Caribou are slowly trickling across the highway, Should make Great hunting on the Ivishak for our airboat outing.

Water conditions are GREAT up there right now even though the water is rising & falling a little each day.

The weather was Horrible for 3 days , then it cleared off to a blue bird sky.

We saw about 2000 head way up the ECHOOKA.

Ended up getting 4 caribou right in camp.

We saw several groups of caribou around the river & also on the Ivishak but most were cows calves & an occasional small bull.

Saw 2 Grizzly several miles out.

LOTS of boats & guys showing up to start the hunting.

Looks like a good week for hunting.

    Good luck guys

Did you have the little red boat with the freeze set up on the trailer? I pulled in just behind you when you were headed for fuel in dead horse

Nope although we did talk to that guy also.

My Panther is 20 foot with no cabin. Maroon color.

Pulled it with my Zebra striped pickup, ( Atleast it was Zebra striped till the mud from the haul road coated it. LOL )
