Unlike some of you that travel to shoot tournaments, I travel to go on vacation, and may shoot a tournament while I'm there.
Such was the case on Wednesday night. It was the Birchwood (Alaska) Shooting Park's weekly "walk-thru". That's Alaska speak for a 100-bird registered tournament. I shot with my old buddy Neil (safe-cracker) Moss, and his lovely wife Lindy.
To say the vegetation at Birchwood is thick, would be an understatement. To say the machines worked well, would be an incorrect statement. I'd guess 20 to 30% of the targets our squad got, were broken birds. It was frustrating and messed with my concentration. The targets weren't particularly fun or interesting, but you still had to break them. I broke 70 of them.
Everybody was friendly, and I hope they were just having an off night, and yes the last picture is at 8:50pm. If you want to see fishing pictures click here: http://www.city-data.com/forum/alask...stes-like.html
