Default Fish ID - Salmon Species - What do you think

I was asked last night to help identify a couple salmon caught in the Valley at Sheep Creek. Wondering what other might think since I was questioned about my observations and told I was incorrect.

I say top photo is a coho "silver" salmon - and bottom photo a pink salmon. (i think the white gum line is a dead give away - and no spots on tail)

Right on the money. The top fish as back spots similar to a king but the gum lines don't lie? What did the other person say they were?

the black tongue and white gums, no spots on the tail should have been a dead give away! The second one is just as easy.

Silvers have a small white spot above gill plate too. When searching crowds of salmon look for that. Hope that pink got a pic than tossed back, getting ugly
Got to look good even in defeat. IMAGE is everything.

Wrong. Kings do not have white gum lines.

Since it's a Jack the gums may have not changed color yet, I've never seen a silver with distinct black irregular spots on its back either. Just saying my guess is a king.
