Default electra-dyne hauler stolen in Whittier lot

sorry for a non-fishing post, but sometime in between last Monday and Friday my electra-dyne hauler was stolen off my boat in the Whittier lot. It's parked in the first row and very visible - whoever took it spent the time to disconnect the leads and pound out the pins holding the hauler in place - wasn't a snatch-and-grab thing. The Whittier police officer (who was very responsive and followed up already) said there have been some recent problems, props disappearing, etc.

so FYI, make sure you lock up anything that's not permanently attached to your boat. My hauler was only three months old and one of the new style of davits that Steve is selling. Photos below:

Someone tried stealing some parts off my outboard and my hydraulic steering ram while the boat was in the Seward Harbor sometime between July 4 and the 18th! Found out when my motor almost blew itself apart on the next trip out. Thieves suck!

That is just ridiculous. I hope you get it back. Anything getting stolen is bad, but that is a pretty big investment for most people and it's a shame their are low lives out there stealing like that
