    would I be able to pull a kid on a tube with a 50 hp prop on a lake? Yamaha four stroke

    Depends entirely on the size/weight of the boat and passengers.

    Can't imagine having any trouble as long as the kid is under 200lbs.

    I have a 20 foot Hewes sportsman with a 50 hp and tow the kids with out any problems

    Had a 48hp on an 18 footer. Top speed on plane was 22 mph. Faster then needed for a tuber.
