Default Float hunt DM 769 Tanana Flats via Tanana or Wood river Recommendations?

We are 2 soggy SE Alaska deer hunters looking forward to a change of scenery with opportunity to hunt DM 769 this fall. This area is basically Tanana Flats between Little Delta and Wood rivers north of Rex trail. We are looking at either floating the Tanana from the Little Delta or the Wood from either Kansas creek or Rex trail to Nenana. We're looking for a quality float experience as much as we are hoping to have an opportunity for a moose.

Any info folks have have comparing the upper, middle, lower Wood and Tanana would be great. Thoughts regarding boat traffic, river conditions, beauty, remoteness, moosiness, best time in Sept, etc....., would be greatly appreciated I note that there have been several recent? fires along the Wood and am curious how the moose habitat there is doing as well? Any ideas are most appreciated!

Curious us if you followed through with this plan? If so, how did it go?
