It was a project, but we finally got our salmon run charts up and running. The data is coming to us directly from ADF&G, and is updated multiple times a day, depending on the river. Currently we have the links posted on two pages, and I hope to update all relevant dipnetting pages with the information. Here are the two pages containing the links:
Kenai Dipnetting Logistics page
Salmon Run Charts (direct link)
The Kenai River page also links out to the Alaska tide tables, and the new webcam that's located near the toll booth on the north beach side of the Kenai River Mouth. This webcam is user-controlled, so you can pan out to the beach area, the parking areas, the restrooms, and so forth. This will be a very useful tool for folks fishing the Kenai River mouth.
The Salmon Run Charts landing page is a shadow of its future self, so be patient while we work on that page. For now, it's pretty easy to figure out. Use the pull-down menu to select the river, then choose the run and the year to get your data.
Many thanks to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game for this great resource.
