    Default Floating Kasilof

I saw a earlier post about Kasilof shuttle phone numbers and am curious on how and where to float the river. I have a small 2 man raft that I use on the upper kenai and parks streams. I am down in Soldotna working during the week, and have some free time after work. Have done the upper kenai a few times but now that the Russian run is dying down, I thought Kasilof would be good to try. Looking for advice on where to put in and takeout, how long a float it is, and can u pull over on the bank and fish like on the kenai. Thanks!

Floated it two weeks ago, put in at sterling bridge and took out at ed's. Trip took eight hours stopping to fish. Reds were thick on gravel bar across from crooked creek campground, and saw a few kings caught in straight just below it.
