Default Long Range shooting Class / Talkeetna ?

Just heard that a long range shooting class was held at the range in Talkeetna

Would anyone that attended please comment on the class ? I was told another class is planned and would like to hear what was taught, cost, attendance, etc. as well as any other feedback.
    Thanks for any info

Is there a "range in Talkeetna"? Or, are you talkin about the USSA?

    Thanks

I believe it was held at the Upper Susitna Shooters range. AKdoug would be the guy to ask. I think Marc Taylor was an instructor (??).

The class (actually two of them back to back) was held on the 1000yd range at Upper Susitna Shooters. I did not attend the class, but I observed a few hours of it. I have not seen an AAR about this class yet. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and what I saw of it appeared to be great instruction. Cost was $500 for two days, which is pretty standard for classes I have attended. The lead instructor was Frank Galli of Sniper's Hide fame.

AKDoug - thank you for the response and a few questions:
Were attendees using normal hunting rifles or custom long range rigs ?
Was this a beginner class (teaching folks how to zero their rifle at a certain distance and similar fundamental skills) ?

Would appreciate any feedback from attendees as I want to attend a local long range class myself.

    Thanks

I thought you might find this info useful about the class.
