    Default Light Weight DPE ????

The DPE I have been using for the last 15 years weighs as much as I do....

I have a couple clients who have planes like T-crates with marginal performance and marginal legal useful loads.
Anyone know of some lighter weight examiners in the Anchorage or Valley areas ? Like 170 pounds or less.

I used Ray Hodges out of the valley. Great guy and I think he was right around 180 when I did my check ride.

Is Heidi still doing DPE business or is she retired?

I havent talked to her in a few years, but I heard that she was thinking about retiring. Her son was still doing it.

I did my checkride with Heidi last year in my Taylorcraft. Not sure of her current status as DPE though.

I did my checkride with Ray Hodges in the J-3, very nice guy and good thorough, challenging and learning checkride in conditions I wouldn't have gone up in on my own. Ray is one of only two guys doing light sport checkrides

I don't believe Heidi is doing checkrides.

I was hoping to use Heidi this year, but I don't see her on the list anymore. She is a great instructor, it looks like she may still be instructing from the looks of their website (arctic flyers).

+3 for Ray. Thorough professional and a gentleman. Not fat either.
