This year I'm taking it easy and only taking the one trip to Missouri. Next year I'm planning a Chesapeake Bay hunt

Few trips out of Whittier, seldovia, Minto Flats and possibly cold bay. That is if the stars line up..

No St. Paul trip for you?

Going to Missouri again for snow geese. Next year is going to be pretty epic with that Chesapeake canvasback hunt. Tony, we've got to get you an Atlantic brant this time around too.

Makes me smile every time I see Sleeping Lady.... For the seventh year three of us are heading across the inlet to the duck shack for the opener. It's a simple pleasure but I really enjoy knowing where I'll be and who I'll be hunting with on Sept 1st. We usually invite someone to occupy the fourth bunk. Good company, great hunting and great food. Ruby will start following me around the house about three days before we head out as she always seems to know what is coming. After the opener we usually head over for another weekend or two and then it's off to PWS for the rest of the fall.
Ruby at the end of a good day.
