Thread: Unit 16 Drop Off Hunt

Default Unit 16 Drop Off Hunt

Out Unit 23 bear hunt got all jacked up because of work schedules. I was thinking Unit 16 for a hunt closer to home. Can anyone recommend an outfit to fly us in for a drop hunt? This would be a fixed camp hunt no floating.

I am not sure how they are now, but several years ago we also used Willow Air. They did well for us. Check them out and see what their schedule is.

Willow Air is heading to McGrath for moose the week we can hunt. I asked them if they could recommend someone but we'll see. I'll check with Alaska Air today. Thanks.

Give Trail Ridge a call over on Lake Hood. I've been using them since 2002 for fishing and hunting and they are outstanding. 248-0838

No better bush pilot than Walt Warner. And a very honest, and dependable guy.

Denali Flying Service, Barry Stanley, 907-495-5899, in Willow. He flies a wheeled Maul and a wheeled Cessna 206. Barry used to be a guide, but now just does flying/transport. We use them for our trips out to the cabin in 16B.
