    Question ATV/CAMPING out of FAIRBANKS

Have some family coming up that want to take the a trip to get out. Have a couple 4 wheelers to take out, where is the best place to take a rifle, a fishing pole, a tent and a 4 wheeler to get lost for a couple days? Was considering up the steese somewhere any recommendations? Want to ride 4 wheelers in to get off the beaten path and away from people.

    Thanks in advance

Mostly, the people round here we're trying to get away from are beating down paths with 4 wheelers. If you want to get away from people you need to use your feet.

57 mile steese highway. Go north 7 miles to the T.. go right to Mount prindle campground. Quartz creek trail is a nice 18 mile ride. Keep an eye on your dogs... lots of wolves in the area.
