    Default Onion Bay, Raspberry Island

I have a DB163 tag for a bear on Raspberry and lower Afognak Islands this fall. I'm still deciding on where I want to focus my hunt. So I'm asking for information on Onion Bay conditions in early November. I'm considering bringing a small zodiac to cross the bay with, is that a reasonable idea?
Thanks in advance for any info or advice on the area or my hunt.

Thanks for the response. I knew that the bay was well protected, but it's better to hear it from someone who has seen it. Thanks again.

You won't really need a zodiak to cross the bay, it's real small, won't be glassing the bay anyway. Hike up the ridge on the northerly side. Lots of bears in eh next valley over, lots of good glassing from that ridge.
Life's to short for an ugly boat
