    Default Brewery Grain for bait

Anyone ever tried using burnt grains from the breweries at your bait? was offered some and was thinking of mixing it up with some grease. I usually just use dog food and popcorn but the grain is free so I thought WTH? Anyone tried it?

I have also wondered this, I know people have used them for farm animal feed.

Yes it works. Mix with fryer grease or something of that nature to add a sweet smell. Then it's game on

I brew a lot and tried it before. Never worked for me. Moose liked it but never saw the Bears eat it. Maybe the grease would help though

Maybe as sort of a filler...we tried it one year. While the bears weren't too impressed, I found the scent to be absolutely intoxicating.

I tried it and had Lots of brown bears. Of course, it was on the Kenai Wildlife Refuge so that was to be expected.
