Default Take out on the Sag

It will be interesting to see how the flooding on the Sag has affected the boat launch - both for river boats and for those who are taking out after floating. Anyone with info as the season progresses, please post for us

    Thanks!

I would think that down around Pump 2 (about 60 miles S. of Deadhorse), roughly where the launch is for folks headed up the Ivashak, is largely unaffected.
Being up here now in Prudhoe and hearing the latest chit chat amongst road workers, it's my understanding that from the Bluffs and on up to Deadhorse is where majority of the road damage is. Unless it has backed up that far and tore up the riverbed where the launch is, (which is what, over 50+ miles from Deadhorse?), I think you'd be ok...
Call Deadhorse DOT, they would be waaaaaaay more accurate then me...
