Default Memorial Weekend Trips (Looking for ideas via Deshka Landing)

What is your adventure going to be for the weekend? Anyone know where the likely hood of bumping into a bear sun tanning on the bank or maybe some Pike Fishing. Have always been one of those who take a right at the next fork then a left at the next one, maybe I will try that approach again. It would be cool to get back on the Forum and say thanks, that was definitely worth the trip.

Pike in lots of sloughs off any of the Big Su river tribs or the river itself.
Burn some gas and take a run way up the Yetna, might catch a bear roaming there, hooligan are reported to be in the river also.

Head north out of the lnding to camp at Willow, Montana, etc....
Skeeters are out so plan and camp accordingly.
    Have fun.

Just upriver from Lake creek there is an outlet from a few lakes that used to have lots of pike in them. Back then we had 16ft lowes and we could drag and carry them up to the two lakes.
