a 4hp motor for the canoe. It isn't an ideal setup (not as safe as a jon boat), but it will have to do for a while. Can't wait for season to open!

NEW LAB PUPPY COMING!!! Hopefully there is a female yeller dog in the littler, but I'll be happy with a black one too she's due to be born next month. I'm getting her from Duck Hills Kennels, and she'll be a canoe lab (50 pounds full grown). 0321Tony's dog Kimber is the one who made me realize that I needed a new one in my life. Going to name her Abby, she won't be ready to hunt this season, but I may be able to take her out for snow geese in march!

    Hi Julie,
Did you decide to switch to one of Kim's earlier breedings? Shoot me a pm

Last season I bought a free boat but had to do some stripping and painting to it and after several hours of work I got it looking pretty good. The trouble I had with it was a 90 lumen light was a bit skechy going up river in the dark with so new for this season I got a new free motor for it and this one has a charging system so I will be able to have a battery onboard that will operate my new 10,000 lumen lightbar I am also going to put running lights a bilge pump and hopefully a blind will be installed for river hunting in the later season. And I need to buy another dozen or so decoys, my old decoys will be repainted and turned into more sea duck decoys.
Ill have to do a writeup on this boat when I get it done I have had a lot of fun doing it and most of it was free including the motor for it.

    Default Tracker

Last month I picked up a new tracker grizzly 20', with a 115/80 jet. Super stable, clean top so the dog or people don't trip, took it out last week in PWS to test the salt on a calm day. Can't wait till late season sea ducks.

Me and Mark put on here that we'd taken a john boat on the salt water a couple years ago to hunt sea ducks, you wouldn't believe the crap we caught for that by all the guys on here.

Now you just need to build a blind for it and hunt it on the kenai during the late season as well.

I remember that, lol.. I know the weather can change quick. I had r out all the way to ester passage and a wee bit more. Seas were flat, slight chop across wells. When in doubt, throttle out..
