Default tis the season for bears, Alaska Wildlife Rugs and Taxidermy knows bears

With about a thousand bears through my hands, I guess you could say I know bears. Here are some photos of recent rugs. About a ten month turn around and superior craftsmanship. Black bears are $240/foot and Brown bears are $255/foot. All skinning and fleshing included in the price.

    Thanks Roland!

An FYI for those who take their kiddos hunting. I do offer 10% off on all mounts for youth hunters. Had a brown bear shipped this week that had been taken by a young lady and it reminded me that I haven't posted that bit of info for a while. I think it is great when families take their kids hunting and what a way to preserve a memory for a lifetime!

    Good luck everyone!

    Juli,
Still making those less expensive flat bear rugs also?
Great way to get a bear done at a very reasonable price.

    Hi BK,

finally getting around to taking a couple of photos. Yes, I still offer flat rugs. They are considerably less cost than a rug with the head mounted. Also very good for kids who want to 'handle' their bear a little more.

Juli, as always, another beautiful mount. I like the "women's" touch by adding the blueberries.

Beautiful mounts. I love the flat mount rug. Where are you located?

My father and I will be up Sept. 2-12 in the Anchorage area and if I am successful, I would love to have it flat mounted.

Hi Engineered2Hunt, I am located in Wasilla - about 50 minutes drive from Anchorage. The shop is located at 990 S Check St. Suite D. Google maps will get you here. PM sent also, regarding shop location and other specifics.

    Good luck on your hunt!

Thank you! The blueberries were requested by the customer and I think they turned out nicely. It did take some time to find them (direct from China, of course, LOL). I will definitely be using them in the future.
