    Default Deshka: and they're off!

Deshka Landing is reporting the first confirmed king on facebook. Looks like the EO has it at single hook, no bait for the Deshka?

The Kenai's got some fish. Fancy new sonar saw 6, 6, 12, and 38 targets in the initial days of counting since mid-month.

Looking for a Deshka Memorial weekend report. Fishing was slow last (almost dead) last Wednesday. Has it picked up?

I was out there camping with the family on Friday night. We didn't see anything pulled in that night. I caught an 18lb King on Sat morning and saw two others caught. By no means was it the hot spot to be,I am pretty sure that a majority of the anglers left empty handed.

Thanks for the update. I will probably still end up there this week since the kids are out of school. Even if the fishing is slow it is still a good trip.
