    Default Goat Hunting Books

    Howdy,
I'm looking for suggestions of some good informational goat hunting books. Something similar to Tony Russ's Sheep Hunting In AK books. Anyone out there know of anything that would provide some valuable insight? Thanks!

Duncan Gilchrist has the holy grail of all mountain goat hunting books if you can find it and willing to pay a pretty penny for it. I ordered one of his DVDs that was very informative.

What do people think about the ethics of pirating Gilchrest's books? I'm not asking for a copy, but in general I'm pretty ok with photocopying out of print books. I have a couple of pirated timber sawing books, and I know it's a controversial practice, but I'm not paying $600 for one of Gilchrest's books.

    Thoughts?

Look into a library. See if you can rent it. If you are in SC you can probably find someone who will let you borrow it.

Forget me not books received an extensive collection of hunting books and include several of Duncan Gilchrist's books. I will second that he was an interesting character and very helpful to beginning hunters.

    Sincerely,

I will 3rd "The Mountain Goat Challenge", but wondering when it got so expensive (Amazon). I got mine at Freddy's a few years ago.
