Hey guys and gals. We would like to invite everyone to enter our Big Black Bear Contest. It is open to all ages and means of harvesting. The main purpose of this is to have fun and meet new people, but also to increase foot traffic in the shop. Please come in to the store to sign up and see the full list of rules. I will try to post them later.

    Just an FYI for everyone.

I've contacted Screaming Eagle and they have agreed to allow me to add to the already great prizes they have. Basically, I was (literally) getting ready to post a similar contest, but what the heck - more is better, right?

Now the prizes also include....First place will also receive a $500 gift certificate off of any mount, Second Place and Third Place will get their skulls cleaned and bleached for free.

Go out and find those bruisers!

Thank you for supporting your local small businesses!

    .
Based on where it looks like the bear was standing he's probably already dumpster dived a few times.

Just reminding folks about this contest. What a great bunch of prizes! Mathews bow and $500 off taxidermy services to first place, Bow fishing trip and free skull cleaning to second place, $150 gift cert to Screaming Eagle and skull cleaning to third place.

Bears seem to be very active at bait sites right now, if the number of them being brought to the shop is any indication.

Stop by Screaming Eagle for specifics and sign up!
