Default Moose shed hunting with my son

When you cant shoot them to get antlers you can always find the ones they dropped. My son is 7 and he likes to hike so I took him shed hunting for the first time. We found a couple, but nothing great. It was a beautiful day though and we had some good one on one time.

Very cool adventure. Thanks for sharing. In a couple of more years you'll be able to tie a rope to your son for an assist uphill. I keep asking mine for that help but they just laugh and push on with while I try to keep up.

I'm lovin' it. I commend you for not letting him become a typical video game zombie. I remember doing things like this with my dad, and some 50 years later, the memory is vivid. I feel so sorry for kids who will never have such fatherly interaction. Sorry for them, and sorry for us as a society.

I just turned 59 in April too. I must have started earlier as my oldest is 38.

Very neat to share time like this with your son! I liked the antler he found because it was small enough for him to carry back to your ATV and feel successful
