    Default Taped thru the tunnel?

Has anyone ever been actually measured as they were paying to get thru the tunnel. If so, where did they measure you? We are 9'6" at the stern but 10'4" at the widest part of the house. Just curious what we can expect. Thx

You might get through w/o a measurement but every time they measured me it was across the arse.

Only been measured once, and it was right across the stern. When they ask how wide you are, just don't say "I don't know"...unless you want them to measure you of course.

Taped us last weekend at the bow flare and came up with a few inches below actual width. Weekend previous, no issues, no tape job.Have them stamp yohr paperwork so it won't happen again.

last year got measured, told him 8-6. Kid jumped out measured, came to me and said, "hey mister, you are exactly 8-6". Ya think????

First trip this year, GF and I and my kids pull up, super ugly gal at the tunnel says, "do you have your new permit? This year we are requiring all boat owners to have a tunnel permit". Just joking the toothless winch says. Nice, wouldn't expect anything thing less from Whittier.

Been measured once at the stern. Came up with less than I told them. Have them write it on your permit and stamp it. Never another question after that.

Just make sure they transfer it to the new permit.

I get measured every spring. I always take the old permit in to try to avoid the hassle but it is never good enough. They never accept it they always go out and measure. My boat must be on a great diet because it looses inches every year.
