    Default Alaska Double Rifle Shoot

Just a heads up for some of the guys that are members here. As well as anyone that wants to come!
On May 2 at 10 am. at Birchwood we'll have the annual shoot. Cal Pappas is going to be flipping the burgers.
It'll be a $20 fee for each shooter for the range.
There'll be lot's of big iron. 4 Bores on down to the 'whimpy'.
Please PM me if you're going to wander by. Thanks

Is the date what you meant? Or if you're interested in seeing some classic double barreled rifles wander by.

I would love to come. I'll bring my 416 Taylor for the fun of it, even though it's a bolt action.

    Default Alaska Double Rifle Shoot

That was the most fun I've had in a while. Unbelievable assortment of weaponry and a bunch of folks nice enough to let you try a few. Throw good weather on top of it and it was darn tough to leave. See you guys next time.

I'm glad that you enjoyed seeing some of the old iron.
Did you get a chance to shoot any of mine? LOL Everyone else did!

We may have another get together later this summer also.

That's a great pic of the guide Phil Shoemaker in the first still pic. I'm way back at the upper right.
