I have a lot of experience with Jim Borden. Anything Jim builds or puts his name on is, if not the best, only a vary few could tell the difference. If I wanted that type of action I would sure put Jim's at the top of the list.

    Default Borden Alpine Action

I just had a 300WSM built on a Alpine action I could not be happier. It's the most accurate hunting rifle I have ever seen, and it weighs less than 6 lbs.
Jim Borden is one of the best in the bussines, verey easy to deal with and stands behind his product.
Kevin weaver built my rifle here is a link to pics of my rifle and the first group shot with it.

Just a wonderful sheep rifle. DR B

I hope you don't mind me saying that your second rifle is "TO DIE FOR"!

Nice hunk of wood, truned nicely. The only fault I can see from your pictures is that I don't have one that looks just like it.
