    Default Copper River

I have a couple questions concerning Copper River dip netting , I went to Kenai for many kids as a youngster for dip netting at the boat launch. How far down does the road go past O'Brian meeting area, and is there is any fees that must be paid to camp or be on the land? Are the cliff side better or can someone be as productive with on stable land?

It might go 7 miles past O'Brien Creek. The guys in the canyon probably do better. There's a 'campground' at the end of the O'Brien Creek trail, but you have to park your bike and hump your gear down to the campground due to the rock slide. If you camp or park on Ahtna land you'll have to pay a fee. (Ahtna land is on the left side of the parking lot and public parking is to the right.)

I'm sure other's will know more than I do, but that's what I remember.

There are good places to fish where you don't have to tie off.
