    Default ice on Figure 8

I would like to fly out to Figure 8 lake and land. Has anybody either landed recently or seen a plane on the ice? Any input on ice thickness appreciated.

    Thanks

Ice is getting thin. I live on Alexander Creek and we have hit the high 50s this week twice. There is no snow and it looks like the end of April out here. Would err on the safe side and not land on these lakes. Heck almost everyone has pulled their planes off of Lake Hood even!

Landed on Figure 8 on 3/31. Still 24 inches of good ice. Fishing VERY.....VERY slow today during our 2 1/2 hour attempt (one).
