    Default Pneumatic gun for Permachink

Brother and I spent a few days chinking 2 sides of the cabin last year.
I really struggled loading the Cox gun with pressure plate system with Permachink.
This year I'd really like to finish the other 2 exterior walls and get the inside done. But to make that happen I'm going to need a better system.
Cabin is in the Talkeetna area. I think I recall a friend saying there are pneumatic guns that will draw the Permachink directly from the buckets. Does anybody know if this is the case, and if these guns are available for rent anywhere in the valley?

I think this is what you're looking for.

The model is the Snorkler. Don't know where or if you could rent one though.

There are air powered calking guns that are affordable though.

I chinked a two story 28x32 both inside and out. I hate those caulking guns. I used a 10 inch sheet rock blade and flew through it. Clean up easier. Mask above and below the area to be filled and it comes out perfect.

Thanks for replies. The pneumatic gun was not what I was hoping. It doesn'
t draw material from the bucket, the pneumatic part is only for dispensing. Looks like its gonna get done the hard way! We'll make the best of it and just enjoy the process!

i know for sure a device like that exists. unfortunately, I do not know the name. Should be able to find out by calling up a few log cabin suppliers or chinkers.

The first link I posted to the Snorkler by Sashco is the only equipment I was able to find that draws directly from the pail.
See your local Sashco dealer as they supposedly rent these units out. Only caveat is you have to use Sashco chinking.

These guys are dealers in Anchorage and Fairbanks according to the Sashco site dealer finder.
