    Default Transportation services needed for farewell for spring buffalo hunt

    I'm am military and looking for someone to fly me and a friend into the Farewell area for DI352 buffalo hunt for spring 2016. If you wish to discuss over the phone or text here is my cell 919-288-6464. Any info or advice on the hunt or air service info is greatly appreciated.

    What's your plan? Do you want flown in and hunt on foot? Fly in service that also drops off snowmachines and gear?

    Looking to fly in and then just hunt on foot.

    Make sure you know the difference between paying for commercial air taxi service and sharing costs with a not-for-hire pilot. You can't just pay anyone to drop you off.

    You plan on landing at the old Farewell strip or hunting off of the South Fork?

    I'm sure it's still legal to share the costs of the flight with a private pilot. Those costs should include pro rata shares of insurance, tiedown, maintenance, replacement, fuel/oil, etc.

    Plus a share of buffalo meat would go a long ways!

    I wonder what the GPH is for buffalo meat? I'm jealous. Sure do hope you take time to take photos and post them. Good luck.
