Thread: Polaris Ranger wiring access

    Default Polaris Ranger wiring access

I'm new to the ranger thing and I bought a rocker switch for my winch so I can operate it from inside the side by side....I popped out the piece where the switch goes but how in the world do you access the wiring in the dash? Do I need to take the dash off? Any guidance is appreciated.

I have no experience with the Ranger. I do have experience pulling thousand of feet of cable. Is it possible you could use a snake to get the wires to the winch with out removing the dash?

There is I think 4 dart pins like a windshield on a snowmachine around that recess storage area and switches. Pop them out and it will come out of the dash giving you access.

Thank you for the information. After a quick check of the panel that the switch goes through there are only 2 screws to re,I've and the small panel pops right out and the wires are right there for easy access. The switch is in and all is well. Thanks again.
