    Default Solar Chargers

Well I searched the forums for some info but didn't find much. Are any of you using small solar panels to keep your batteries charged up on long trips, tied up in the harbor for a week or parked in the driveway? Was thinking about mounting one up top for those times when we use more juice than expecting.

    Rob,
The larger one in the cabin window up front works great, the smaller one over by the coat rack is more for wheeler batteries.
Should have pointed them out while you were there.
Both came from harbor freight, small was $15- and large was $85-.
You will need a trickle charger also with either set up. The larger would do the trick to recharge while gone I think.

Take a look at this site. I just bought one of their solar cells and rechargeable batteries for my hunting trips. Jim
