    Default Furs for sale

    Furs for sale

Is this something that taxidermist do “had them all skinned by a taxidermist for life size mounting”.
I never price a fur before so I don't know if he asking a fair price or not, what do you think.

Pretty fair on everything, overall, especially if he paid a taxi to skin and prep them....he is asking retail prices on most of it. If I was interested in buying one, I'd want to know who tanned it.

Boy I'd say he's fairly high for wall hangars.

Juli, do you think those could still be mounted after hanging for an unknown period of time? My understanding is they may not be.

If these are all taxidermy quality and have been tanned in the last year or two... they are worth about what he is asking. Wallhangers (not taxidermy mountable) would be considerably less.

I don't see anything wrong with the prices he is asking.

Whether they are MOUNTABLE is between him & the buyer.

ALOT of folks just want them for wall hangers.

But ANY time I purchase one for a lifesize mount I make sure the tan is NEW....>>>> WITHIN ONE YEAR<<<<

Older tans are Most of the time more headacke than they are worth to try to mount.
