    Default recommendations for GPS?

I am looking for advice for an affordable and dependable handheld mapping GPS for hunting in Alaska. All feedback would be welcomed. Right now, I am eyeing the Garmin eTrex Legend or something like that. How much of a problem is reception in remote areas of Alaska?

    Appreciate all ideas.

I like the Garmin Etrex line. I had a Etrex legend, and upgraded to a legend CX because i got a heck of a deal on it and i gave my old legend to my old man. The CX has a lot of NEWER features... color screen, removable memory card/upgradeable memory, more options for mapping and such. I really enjoy using mine, but the old Legend worked just fine too, just wasn't as user friendly.

It also seems like my CX gets better satellite signal than the regular legend.

I'll have to check out the CX a little more... appreciate your feedback.
