    Default Prism style scopes

Just bought a new AR and was thinking about putting a vortex spitfire 3x or Burris AR 332 scope on it. Just wondering if anyone has first hand experience with either onc. Sportsmans has both of them for right around the same price, after checking them out I'm leaning more towards the vortex.

Both are decent scopes. The Burris was known for having canted reticles that may or may not (depending on the individual scope) be fixed by swapping to a higher quality base. Both can use ACOG mounts btw.

IMO I like the finer reticle in the Vortex way better. Not mention that Vortex has a lifetime warranty and the Burris is only 1 year.

For around the same price, you can also get the Vortex Strike Eagle. Granted it isn't a prismatic scope, but it is a 1-6x 30mm scope with the same reticle and warranty in a slightly larger package.
