Default Ruger M-77 Hawkeye all weather series being discontinued

Just found out that Ruger is discontinuing the all weather Hawkeyes. The all weather Americans are still available. I liked the all weather Hawkeyes, built like a tank, fair price, and decent shots. A Great Alaska rifle.

I just picked up a used one in a .338 win mag. Hoping it will be a good rifle.

Over the years I've noticed that Ruger has discontinued a lot of the rifles I prefer.
Sad to see this happen but I think it's an issue of non gun people being in charge of the money. Anyone remember the grey and black laminate stocks with stainless barrels and actions? That was a good one they discontinued. The Guide Gun doesn't appeal to me as I find the barrels too short. It seems like their focus is more on the Scout Rifle and the cheaper American.
