    Default Kenny Creek area "SummerTime"

I know it's a little early but I was wondering how the main trail towards Kenny Creek lodge is in the summer time. I'm looking at some land between the road and the lodge. Is that trail usually passable in the summer on an ATV? I'm sure breakup and freeze up are tough though. From Google Earth, the land looks pretty wooded and dry, but there are some open areas that have me worried. Any info?

The trail is pretty gnarly. Boggy/wet & spongy. Suppose it's passable in the summertime to get to a cabin though.

Kenny Creek lodge uses an 8 wheel argo in the summer. It is boggy and swampy.

Kenny Creek is closed in the summer. We have been there several times with atv's and side by's

Hows the trail in the area, good, muddy, argo only, winch usage for a wheeler, or not too bad?

I suppose it depends on the rain, but but generally how is it getting back there on a regular old 4 wheeler?

Rob B....did you buy the land?? I am a new cabin owner out that way and did have troubles getting in. I bought a mini truck and couldn't get in. I put tracks on the mini truck, and still couldn't get in (both attempts in 2015). I just traded my mini truck for an Argo, that I hope will get me there. I will find out for sure in 2 weeks. It was more wet than I expected ! I did make it in on 4-wheelers, but it took some time. I wanted the Argo so I could go in with just the 1 vehicle and not have to rely on finding someone else to go with.

Nope. We sure didn't. That really sucks about it being too wet. I'm sure the Argo will get you anywhere you want to go without any issues.

Well that's too bad Rob B. Was hoping you might be my neighbor in Petersville.

    Thanks for the reply!
