Get a 338......and hire that Idaho newbie as a grizzly guard during your hunt. Man would hunting with you be an eye opener for him.

    Oh, and congrats on drawing.

I'm thinking a 50cal charcoal burning front stuffer would be classy.

Of course, the pointy stick of death is pretty classy too...

Cant even use BP while awaiting the judgment and getting my case dropped so I can hunt Them....Muskox with the Bow Ive been shafting things with from Amigo Will, for some time now. Lanced some Caribou again this year, so its a toss up between tossing a lance or arrows their way, so well see. By August it might a complete turn around in court, and in my hands, legally, would just be a nice 1883 Tula made reciverd, Sako built Mosin M28/30 in 7.62x53r and hand loads with .308 170 gn. HPJBT's and 43grn Varget, some CCI primers and Laupua brass, a true Finnish classic, unavailable in the U.S......... and why not?

Anyways, I gotta figure a way to get you guys to see this ~~LOL!!~~ and we will dine with you, Kevin, for sure.......salad will be fine

How about a samburu spear? Very aerodynamic and lethal! It would be fun to tag along with you on this hunt.

I've got an atlal that I've played around with also. Fun stuff but I'm not proficient enough to go after big, dangerous game with it. Keep us posted. Maybe we'll see you in action on Life Below Zero!

Our last 2, before we moved away from Nome, were with a .223 and a 6.8spc.
I believe the regs allow an underage hunter to hunt and shoot on an adults tag. Might want to look in to that.

I took one with my bow, if I ever do it again it will be with a spear. If it were more economical, I'd be all over it. I've got a couple of the samburu spears, but haven't practiced with them in quite some time.

    Default 2x hoyt

I got 2 last winter in Canada using a bow, roughly 25-30 yard shots. Blew thru 1 completely it spinner in a circle I think 3 times and tipped over. The other one the Broadhead got tangled in the fur on the far side. He ran 20 yards and tipped over. I guess one could use a gun but they aren't the brightest critters on the tundra. Beautiful though and my favorite to eat.
