    Default 13D Goat Success

Hey folks, I drew a 13D goat tag and would like to hear about some previous hunts.

I am NOT interested in hearing WHERE you hunted (unless you mention it), I am not really looking for any information on the actual hunt but I sure would like to see some photos of any goats that have been taken in 13D. I have read every thread available on 13D goats, etc. Not many photos out there...

The cool thing about this tag is that there are so many options! The bad thing about this tag is that the hunt is so early. Either way, it should be a good time.

    Thanks in advance for sharing.

I would just read the numerous other goat stories and pretend they happened in 13D. Good luck!

Tyer Freel- Outdoor Life- Probably one of the most articled goat hunts done in the last five years.
    Think Twin Lakes.
Now try to find Twin Lakes.
    Good Luck.

Tyler and I are great friends, so yes, we've talked. Was merely looking to see who on here has hunted the unit and what kind of billy's they were able to get.

Goats are fun... Just didn't plan on hunting them again this year.

Then I would hunt on the upper back side of Cirque Creek.

August 11th, had a fun time. Tough hunt. Glad we went where we did. 8 1/2 year old and just at 9". He had no teeth left in his mouth, just gums.

I hope that he eats better than he looks. LOL!
Good job on helping him. It would have been a wretched winter for him.

Did you shoot him, or just find him laying there dead from old age? Just kidding, congrats and thanks for the sharing with us!
