Default New WBY Vanguard 375 H&H

What do you guys think of the new Vanguard in 375 H&H? Would you hunt bears with it even though it's push feed?

Sure, but it wouldn't be my first choice, for $800 there are a lot of used guns I'd rather have, thought I'm sure the street price is lower? Plenty of push feed rifles get hunted up here. Curious what it weighs, website doesn't have much for specs. A heavy .375 is a pleasure to shoot, a light one not so much.

I think it looks good. I've had a couple Howas and a Vanguard...pretty nice rifles and well built.

Push feed? Yeah- I'd hunt with it. In a well built rifle there's not a lot of difference...heck, I hunt with a PF now!

I would, because I like the Weatherby Stock Design, and there is less to go wrong with Push-Feed.

And, it has the hodge stamp of approval.

That's just about the right weight for that cartridge, in my opinion.

Nothing wrong with a push feed, mine loads at every angle and upside down, I use mine without fear or concern. If one is that concerned about a follow up, carry a double.

It comes with a sub moa guarantee. Sounds good to me.
